About Charlotte

Since the logic of carbon chemistry often feels counterintuitive, I prioritize building a mental map of electron flow during our meetings. Because I am a 3rd year medical student at Columbia Vagelos, I relate these abstract concepts to the high stakes of current medical training. Using past-paper mechanism walkthroughs allows us to dissect difficult problems in real time. We focus on elimination reactions and the transition from alcohols to ethers while maintaining a structured pace.

My 3 years of tutoring experience ensures that we cover isomerism and radical reactions without getting bogged down in unnecessary jargon. You will find that these sessions provide the necessary tools to navigate your upcoming exams.

About the lesson

Med school started with a single focused goal. Organic chemistry is my primary domain now.

I built my foundation through 3 years of rigorous study and MCAT success. My score reached the 99th percentile because I treated every reaction mechanism like a logic puzzle.

College chemistry majors and biochemistry students often find me when the curriculum gets dense. I assist many exam candidates who need clarity on stereochemistry and aromaticity.

My work involves simplifying SN1 and SN2 pathways for post-bacc students. IB students also rely on my guidance for complex retrosynthesis. I hope to help you move past the wall.
