About Gina

My passion is for teaching students with disabilities (which allows me to use the same effective strategies on learners without disabilities). I have a B.S. in Special Education, minor in Autism, and completed half my master's program for an M.A. in Teaching Special Education. I am certified in NC to teach Exceptional Children K-12 in both General and Adapted Curriculum as well as a Professional Educator's License as a Learning Behavior Specialist in Illinois.

About the lesson

My lessons are personalized based on the students' learning needs. I collaborate with their teachers and provide specially-designed instruction in a way that is engaging for the reader in an individualized setting. I have years of experience teaching reading to students with learning disabilities, AD/HD, autism, and other neurodivergent learners who require additional support without a "one size fits all" approach.

Passionate, enthusiastic special educator with specialization in multi-modal reading instruction and assessment excited to help students by targeting areas of weakness and providing effective instruct
