About Daniah

I am a dedicated educator with over 15 years of academic experience and a PhD in Mechanical Engineering. My academic journey has equipped me with strong expertise in mathematics, physics, and engineering, as well as the ability to explain challenging concepts in a clear and structured way. Alongside my academic career, I have 4 years of hands-on tutoring experience, working with both high school and university students. I specialize in tailoring lessons to suit each learner’s unique needs, whether that means building strong foundations, improving exam performance, or advancing to higher-level problem solving. My qualifications and experience allow me to combine in-depth subject knowledge with practical teaching skills, ensuring my students not only achieve their academic goals but also develop long-term confidence in their abilities. My lessons are particularly suited for high school (VCE, HSC, and senior levels) and university students who want structured guidance in math, physics, and engineering subjects.

About the lesson

My tutoring style focuses on breaking down complex concepts into clear, simple steps so students can build a strong foundation and apply their knowledge with confidence. I use real-world examples, problem-solving strategies, and guided practice to help students not just memorize material but truly understand it. Lessons are interactive and tailored to each student’s needs, whether that’s preparing for exams, catching up on missed content, or extending learning beyond the classroom. A typical lesson lasts 60 minutes, though this can be adjusted depending on the student’s goals and level of focus. I often include a combination of concept review, worked examples, and practice questions, ensuring students leave each session with both understanding and practical skills. I hold a PhD in Mechanical Engineering and bring over 15 years of academic experience combined with 4 years of tutoring experience. My background allows me to guide students with both deep subject knowledge and effective teaching methods. My lessons are designed for high school and university students, particularly those studying mathematics, physics, or engineering subjects. I welcome learners of all abilities, from those seeking to strengthen fundamentals to advanced students aiming for top results.
