Writer with 20+ years experience in everything from test prep to poetry

Marcia tutored me on the English portion of the SAT and taught me strategies I would not have figured out on my own. Highly recommend!

My son, who's not particularly enthusiastic about writing, attended several week-long writing workshops for boys that Marcia offered. The camps were fun, hands-on, and collaborative. Marcia knows how to motivate and excite a boy who never wanted to write more than a sentence at a time. He came home excited about his day and produced some thoughtful and creative writing. He, to this day uses writing prompts and tools that he learned from Marcia during those sessions.

Marcia is an amazing writer and communicator! She listens carefully and will help you find just the right words for anything from a TEDTalk to a business plan. I highly recommend her!

I worked with Marcia on lots of writing projects. We practiced strategies like radical juxtaposition, reverse thinking, and original imagery. I added to my portfolio and experimented with everything from dialogue scenes to scramble poetry. I liked how Marcia and I worked to use my that I’d already found and use it to the best of my ability.
