About Leonora

Private tutoring became my primary focus after realizing that 1 to 1 work matches my strengths better than traditional classroom. I am currently on the MD PhD track at the University of Maryland. Throughout the last 5 years, I have helped students navigate the complexities of thermochemistry, reaction mechanisms, and periodic table trends.

My approach prioritizes the underlying idea over superficial polish. Understanding equation balancing and the nuances of inorganic chemistry is more valuable than memorizing steps. I focus on acids and bases while keeping the goal in mind that eventually, you stop needing my help.

About the lesson

Working through a problem feels like a collaborative investigation of your own logic. You will experience a process where we move at the pace the material needs rather than what a syllabus suggests.

I emphasize 6.0 level rigor in our mock tests and thorough error analysis. My background as an MD PhD candidate ensures a methodical review of your reasoning.

We identify exactly where the logic breaks down before the actual exam occurs. Precision is the objective. Your ability to self correct grows during these 6 sessions.
