Super Tutor

GAURI is one of our best English tutors. High-quality profile and excellent qualifications, organised and responsive to lesson requests, appreciated by their students!

About GAURI

I am a graduate student in BA Psychology (Hons) and am currently preparing for my master's degree. I am passionate about teaching and have had some experience teaching English to young students. I would like to take this experience and add a level of professionalism to it.

About the lesson

I believe that any language is best understood through visuals. I like teaching young students (grade 1-5) through images and videos and have them engage in dialogue and activities, with an equal emphasis on grammatical accuracy and understanding.
For older students (grade 6-12), I put a strong emphasis on grammar, creative writing, literature (course curriculum) listening, speaking and exam preparation. I am fluent in English and Hindi. Additionally I can speak basic Punjabi and therefore, am able to explain concepts in the language comfortable to the student.
