I am a "returning student" with a background in management. I focus on the success of the student by involving the student as an active participant in the learning process through verbal engagement, real-life application of discussed topics/concepts, and critical thinking regarding potential benefits/drawbacks of applying discussed methods on individuals directly and indirectly involved in suggested scenarios.
I have tutored in subjects from K-12, with my students raising their grades by at least 80%. I have acted as teaching assistant/pedagogical assistant (both paid and unpaid) for undergraduate college students, leading quite a few to choose psychology as their major. And I have tutored psychology undergraduates and graduates for over 4 years, assisting them in successfully obtaining theses chairpersons and navigating thesis committees.
